We experienced a moment of culinary divinity when we first tasted this Gouda extra seasoned by Bemster.
Previously, we doubted that any cheese could be more flavorful than an 18-month-aged Gouda Bemster, but their X.O. really sets a new bar. In this 26 month old Gouda, we first noticed its delicate, brittle texture. After we tasted it, the taste of butterscotch penetrated the palate. Then followed by waves of whiskey and pecans. Made from pasteurized cow’s milk. We cut and wrap this product by hand.
